Backward scheduling from a certain point within the workflow

In the Gantt tab, you can perform backward scheduling at any point within the workflow.
  1. Change the Due Date for any open task.
  2. Press the TAB key. A push pin is displayed in the Fixed Date field. The Start Date is recalculated for the current step.
  3. Click Recalculate Dates.

    The Latest Start and Latest Due dates are recalculated for the current step.

    The Latest Start and Latest Due dates are recalculated for the upstream open tasks. These are the open tasks that are before the Fixed Date. The duration is used to recalculate the dates.

When you change the Due Date of the final step, the entire project is backward scheduled.
