Groups combine users who share information
All users who require the same level of access to the same data can be combined into a group. For example, formulators who work on the soda product can be combined into the soda group. These users are likely to require the same amount of access to the soda formulas.
Group names can be the same as lab names. Group names are assigned to objects, such as formulas and items. If a user’s group matches the object’s group, then the user is entitled to that security.
