CE.SurName.NumChar

This profile attribute is used for the cloud edition. It specifies the number of characters that are used to generate the user code for the Optiva user. The surname is displayed in the Last Name field in the Optiva User form.

This table provides a list of possible values. The list is not all inclusive.


Sample Values	Descriptions
-1 (Default value)	Use the entire surname. Long names can be truncated by the system. If the last name for the user is Smith, then the entire last name `“SMITH”` becomes part of the user code.
0	Omit the surname.

Note: This profile attribute is used in conjunction with CE.GivenName.NumChar. Therefore, the sum of the values for these profile attributes cannot exceed 18. For more information and more examples, see the Infor PLM for Process Installation Guide.
