Rescaling a formula

In the Formula form, you can scale up formulas for mass productions or readjust totals according to laboratory constraints.

  1. In the toolbar, click Rescale Formula.
  2. In the Scale Formula dialog, enter the new yield or scale factor. Do not enter a negative yield. If desired, change the unit of measure. If you would like all the ingredients to switch to this new UOM as well, check the Reset All Ingredients to the New Yield UOM box.

    When you rescale a formula, items that have a Pending Calculation (0) or are Calculated by Optiva (2) scale linearly. All scalable items adjust proportionately to accommodate the new yield or scale.
