Configuring a standard guideline

The standard guidelines are modifications of the @DFLT guidelines. They are made up of generic text with variables as placeholders.

Do not exceed (&Max) percent for use on (&End Use).
Do not use in (&Selling Location).
Restrictions unknown as of (%Date).
The parameter value of (&Value) is greater than the legal maximum of 
(&Max).

When you associate guidelines with specific items or parameters, the variables get replaced with specific values. These values come from the context settings and are applied when the guideline check is run.

Do not exceed 15 percent for use on Hair, Eyes, Skin.
Do not use in Canada, Sweden.

The parameter value of 7% is greater than the legal maximum of 5%.
