Calculating rollup, cost and equation total parameters

Clicking Perform Calculation (re)calculates Rollup, Cost and Equation Total parameters in addition to calculating formula yield for the current formula and from any sub-formulas.

Or, if you have sub-formulas within sub-formulas, click Calculate All. Calculate All recalculates all directly and indirectly nested sub-formulas to bring updated sub-formula parameter values to the top-level formula.

Some parameters are expressed as a percent of the total formula. Others have units of measure, such as milligrams of parameter per kilogram of formula (MG/KG). If a per unit of measure is not displayed, the parameter is calculated based on the formula’s overall yield unit of measure.

You can view the individual item contributions to the formula’s parameter values in the Item Contribution form.

You can change calculated parameter values at the formula level.
