Variables used to filter all guidelines

This table shows the variables that apply to a standard guideline:

Variable Definition
&Selling Location Selling locations assigned as context attributes for the formula (countries, regions, continents)
&Mfg Location Manufacturing location that is assigned as context attributes for the formula (countries, regions, cities, plants)
&Product Type Category of the product that is assigned as context attributes for the formula.
&End Use Where the product is used. The end use is assigned as context attributes for the formula (parts of the body, environment conditions, building components).
&Max Maximum Qty percentage of an item or maximum value of a parameter in a formula.
&Min Minimum Qty percentage of an item or minimum value of a parameter in a formula
%Date Current Date. This is supplied by the system.
&Value Actual value of an item Qty% or parameter in the formula.

Can be used along with Min or Max. Example: A guideline applies if the value of the item Qty% is greater than a maximum of 5%, and the item Qty% value in the formula is 7%. In this case, the &Value is replaced by 7%.

&End User Who uses the product. The end user is assigned as context attributes for the formula (adult, child, male, female).
&Brand Brand identification of the product that is assigned as context attributes for the formula.
&Customer Customer the formula is developed for. Assigned as formula references.
&Vendor Vendors who provide ingredients. Assigned as formula references.
&Testing External testing companies who provide external testing services. Assigned as formula references.
&Manufacturing External manufacturing companies who provide co-packing or manufacturing services. Assigned as formula references.
&Other
