Items types
Three types of items are used for ingredient statements:
- Material (Type 1): Manufactured items produced in your company. These items, also known as intermediate items, have other items (sub-items) associated with them.
- Raw Material (Type 8): Standard raw materials, such
as water and sugar -- or purchased manufactured items made up of other items
(constituents).
- Grouping (Type 9): An identifier that is used to group a set of items together on the statement. This identifier is known as an item group.
