Adding reconstituted items to the statement

Reconstitution is the process of combining materials to produce a final item. In this example, Milk is the final item.

Evaporated milk + water = Milk

Reconstitution rules are supported by ingredient statements. In other words, you can create an ingredient statement that shows only the final item (i.e., milk). You cannot create an ingredient statement to display the formula items that were used to produce the milk (i.e., evaporated milk and water).

What if some of the water is not consumed or some of the evaporated milk is not used? These items and the reconstituted item are displayed in the ingredient statement:

milk, evaporated milk, water
