Tests

A test defines the method for evaluating properties of a formula or item. It can reference a standard external protocol, such as American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), or U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP). Other attributes of the test include:

• Capability (i.e., instrumentation or other resources)
• Duration of the test
• Conditions for running the test
• Parameters to be measured in the results
• Intervals for running the test

Test properties are reflected in the Test Results form. The fields on the Test Results form all come from the test.

Conditions from the test are displayed in the test results. The fields from the Test Conditions tab all come from the test.
