User Load - field descriptions
Overview
- Specify the criteria for your search in the Main tab.
- Click .
- View the resource allocation in the Total Load tab. For each user, you can see their tasks and the percentage of time, by day, that they are allocated to each task.
This form can show a week-by-week load or a month-by-month load, too. The calculation is:
Sum the total load for the task for the time period (week or month). Divide that total by the total available work days in that time period.

Main tab
You can specify My Employees or you can specify a user, group, or role
- Resource Type
- Select User, Group, or Role from the drop-list.
- Resource Code

Specify a code that corresponds to the type of resource.
For example, if you select User for the Resource Type, then specify the user for whom you wish to review the load.
- My Employees

Select this check box to see only the users for whom you are marked the Supervisor. The Supervisor is specified in the User page.
Leave the Resource Code and Resource Type fields blank.
Total Load tab
The summary rows identify the users who meet the search criteria and their total load percentages for each date. If the percentages exceed 100%, then the user is overloaded for that date.
The detail rows show only the tasks (Action Lines) to which the user is assigned for the time period. Any tasks that fall outside of the date range are excluded from the results. The Action WIP IDs for each task are also shown in the results.
If the user is assigned to a parent task, only the child tasks are displayed in the Total Load tab. Parent tasks are hidden because they do not have durations and duration unit of measures.
- Action WIP ID
- Shows the WIP ID for the Action Line.
- Action Line

Shows the line number of the task to which the user is assigned.
- Step Caption

Shows the description for the task. The description is defined in the Action Set.
- WIP Description
- Shows the description for the Action Set.
- User Code
- Shows the user who is assigned to the task.
