Create rule for a manufacturing item
The Object Type is an item (i.e., object that is going to be created); the Reference Type is a formula (i.e., object with the References tab).
Specify this criteria in the
Create Rule form.
- Auto Code
- Select this check box to create auto code segments for the rule.
- Create Object
- Click to create a new manufactured item.
- Object Type

- To create a rule code to name a Mfg item, select an
ITEMobject type andFORMULAreference type. - Create From As New
- Rule launches if Manufacturing Item field is blank.
- Create From As Copy
- Rule launches if Manufacturing Item contains an item code.
