Some object information is not copied from a record

Users can generate new objects, either by creating a new one or copying an existing one. Certain information that pertains to the new object record is not taken from either the default record or the copied record:

• The object creation date is set to the current date.
• The creator is set to the user who created the object.
• The modify date and modify by fields are blank.
