Adding status codes

Status indicators describe current conditions for an object:

• Development status indicates the progress in the development process. For example, experimental, engineering, manufacturing, or obsolete status.
• Hold status indicates a reason for not continuing the process. For example, inventory or resources.
• Approval status indicates the level of authorization for a product. For example, not approved, controlled approval, or approved.
• Dates when the object was created and modified. This is set by the system.
• Date when the object development is signed off as completed.
• User who created and modified the object. This is set by the system.

You can add or change status values in the Object > Main tab. Status can also be changed through Workflows.
