Changing the statement text

In the
Ingredients tab of the
Ingredient Statement Rule form, you can change
the statement text for an item by entering new text in the
Statement Text field.

Then, return to the
Ingredient Statement form and click
to see the
change. (Clicking
does not update the
Preview tab with your
changes.)

To preserve your change, click
. Otherwise,
your change is overwritten when you reapply the rule.
These methods can also be used to change the statement text:
- Select another Type Indicator in the Ingredient Statement Rule form.
- Edit the preview text manually and save it.
- Use the Ingredient Text For Rule form to manage multiple rules for a single item. If you add or remove a rule in this form, the item is added or removed from the Ingredient Statement Rule and vice versa.
- Although you can use the Ingredient Text for Rule form, we recommended that you save language-specific text in the Label tab of the Item form. The item labels override the rule labels.
