Understanding the load percentages

Shop calendars are taken into consideration when the load percentages are calculated by the system. For example, when a user has a planned vacation day, the load percentage for that day is blank.

The summary rows show the total load for the user by date.

Time Period Summary Row Calculation
Day Sum the load for every task that is assigned to the user for that date.
Week or Month Sum the total load for the task for the time period. The time period is displayed as a week or a month.

Divide that total by the total available work days in that time period.

The details rows show the total percentage of time that the user is allocated to each task. Initially, the load percentages are assigned by the project manager in the Assign Users To Task page.

The shop calendars are used to calculate the load percentages over the time period. Consequently, the load percentages can vary by date for each task. For example, if a user works a partial shift one day and a full shift the next day, then the load percentages are calculated accordingly.
