File Location - field descriptions

Main tab
The Main tab is used to define the File Location information for the Set Type.- Name

Enter the name of the file.
Some set paths, such as
DOCUMENT.ATTACHMENT
, require the name of the object (e.g., ITEM) or an object.function code combination.Function codes are defined for objects in the Symbol page. They enable you to attach text files, graphic files, and URLs to an object.
If the set type is
DOCUMENT.ATTACHMENT
and the file path applies to every object, then you can enter@DFLT
here. - Path

Enter the directory path in which the file is located. You can designate:
- An actual path, such as: C:\<file path>
- A relative path, such as: .\<file name>
- URL path, such as: http://<file path>
- User

Specify the user who will have access to the file path.
To provide access to all users, select
@DFLT
.
