Add the Optiva data fields to the report by dragging and dropping the fields into each section.

You can also use the shortcut menu to insert to the Details section.

You can add a field to the Details section by dragging it. A column heading is added automatically.

You can manually delete the header if you do not want it.

Adding fields to details section

Prepare the layout and labeling of sections with graphics, drawing objects and text fields. In this example, the Formula Summary Report and Basic Information labels are text fields. The Basic Information is inside a box drawing object.

Saving the Report without data

You can save the Crystal Report template without saving the data. Select File > Save or File > - Save As instead of File > > Save Data with Report.

Location for rpt Files

Save the report to the same place as the XSD file. The default location is:C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\FsWebReports\Source
