Constraints for ingredient statement, such as:

• Inclusion of an item. Below the reporting threshold, ingredients are optional for the statement.
• Replacement of a name. Ingredients can be identified by the item’s description, common name, aliases, or other names. Different statements can list the same ingredient by different names.
• Sorting of trace ingredients. Below the sorting threshold, the order of ingredients can be changed on the statement.
• The section of the statement in which the ingredients are listed.
• Whether top-level items, subitems, or constituents are displayed.
