Replacement tokens for Lookups inside of an Optiva object

You can configure lookups using information that is stored elsewhere in the object to build the lookup query. For example, this feature is useful for:

• Extension tables and extension fields
• The Action Set Start form (workflows) and the Wizard

Use these replacement tokens:

• [%OBJECTSYMBOL]
• [%OBJECTKEY]

These lookups only work when they are inside of an Optiva object. The tokens are replaced with the symbol and key of the current object. The surrogate ID is used for objects that have a version number.

If you launch a Workflow or a wizard that has object-based lookups, those object-based lookups work on the input forms for Workflows and Wizards.
