Workflows

There are several ways to start a workflow. First, the objects are identified. Then, the workflow is chosen.

A Work ID is generated for the workflow for each object. An example of a Work ID is 3321. The Work ID is important. You use it in the Workflows in Progress form and in the Gantt tab to monitor the progress of the workflow tasks.

There is flexibility in how the Optiva administrator can configure workflows. Some workflows can be configured to require some user input before the workflow starts. In other cases, no user interaction is required; the workflow runs automatically.
