Assigning byproducts

Byproducts are the ancillary products of the formula. If a byproduct is expected, you can enter it in the Specification form.

  1. Open the Specification form.
  2. Click the Byproducts tab.
  3. Specify this criteria.
    Item Line
    Use the Lookup to select an item. This item is the byproduct ingredient for the specification.
    Qty %
    Enter an exact value here. This value is the percent that the item represents of the total byproduct.
    Qty % Hi
    Qty % Hi
    Qty % Low
    Use these columns, instead of the Qty %, to specify the maximum or minimum allowable values for the formula.
