Adjusting items to a new yield (total)
In the Formula form, add or subtract quantities from one or more items that are based on a formula total. The formula total is specified in the Adjust Total with Items dialog.

For this example, select one item.

In the
Adjust Total with Items dialog, enter a target
total for the formula.
You can select more than one item in the formula before opening the Adjust Total with Items dialog.
Note that the starting quantity for a selected item is 0 when adding an ingredient to a formula. You must modify the quantity to proceed. An alert message will be displayed when the starting quantity is 0, and lets you know that the initial quantity for the item must be more than 0 to proceed.
In this case, the difference between the Target and Current values cannot be less than the original sum of the selected rows.

When you tab to the next field, the item total is adjusted.
