Quick Search

Quick Searches are configured by the Optiva administrator in the Search <object> forms. The fields within the Quick Search can be marked as:
  • Visible or invisible
  • Read-only or editable
  • Required or optional

For example, the administrator can specify certain field values in the Quick Search, but hide them from the end user.

The administrator can require users to specify values before they can execute the search in the Quick Search form.

For any Search field that supports Min and Max criteria, there is only a single set of Quick Search Visible, Quick Search Locked, and Quick Search Required check boxes for that pair of criteria fields.
