Combining like ingredients

After you explode a sub-formula, there may be duplicate ingredients in the Formula form. You can combine duplicate items that have an identical code.

Use the Functions > Combine Like Ingredients menu in the Item Lines tab.

In this example, Item 1 is combined and the quantity is 50. It is not necessary to select the ingredients before selecting the menu choice.

The system administrator should use the Formula.Integer_Uom profile attribute to specify unit of measures to round off for combining packaging ingredients.

Use the Explode and Combine Selected menu to explode and combine the selected ingredients.

Use the Explode and Combine All menu to explode and combine all ingredients in one operation at each level of a formula.
