Understanding security privileges

In the Extension Table Definition form, you can assign security privileges to users, roles, and groups. The privileges are:

• Read
• Read/Write

These privileges control whether users can view the extension table in the object form; and they control whether users can edit the extension table in the object form.

Security privileges can be different for a user, the role to which the user belongs, and the group to which the user belongs. In this scenario, the highest security level privileges are granted to the user.
