Extending and altering objects

You can use the Validation form to change the validation checking that is performed for most columns in Optiva.

For example, you can change an Attribute 1 column to be read-only. You can change an Attribute 2 column to accept character strings instead of numeric values.

Caution:

Any changes that are made in the Validation form can cause significant problems in Optiva functionality; your changes can even result in data loss. You should consult with the Infor Support team before you begin working in this form.
