Prerequisites

These prerequisites apply to the AWM module and can be configured by the system administrator.

Specify these profile attributes for AWM:

APM.THRESHOLD The default value is 5. This value determines when a task is considered to be late.

Select the Full Elasticity check box in the Action Set form:

If this check box is not selected and a task is completed early or late, Optiva will not automatically re-calculate Start and Due Dates for all upstream tasks that are not fixed.

Specify form security by role.

Form name Privileges
FRMPROJECTMGMT The project managers are the users who have Form Security privileges to the Project Management page of read/copy/write or read/copy/write/delete.

The project managers have more control over the open tasks than the users who are assigned to the tasks.

Only the project managers can change the start date, due date, duration, and assignment for all of the open tasks.

Only project managers can skip tasks and recalculate the dates for the open tasks.

Only project managers can unskip tasks.

FRMUSERASSIGN You must have at least read access to see the Assign Users to Task button in the Project Management page.

For the Assign Users to Task page, you must have at least read/copy/write privileges to:

  • Assign more than one user to a task.
  • Specify a load percentage for each user.
  • Save changes to this page.

Create at least one stage gate action set. Assign users or groups to the tasks and assign durations to each task.

Configure shop calendars, if necessary, for locations and users. A default shop calendar is provided in the system. See the Infor PLM for Process Application Configuration Guide.
