Process for defining equations

Equations are defined to pull parameter or item values from a formula to calculate other parameters. Equations are also used to show alert messages.

1. Create the equation script in the Equation form. For information about the equation scripting functions, see the Infor PLM for Process Scripting Administration Guide.
2. Indicate the calculation type on the Parameter form.
3. Attach the equation to the parameter on the Parameter form.
