Tracking changes to parameter values

  1. In the Symbol form, select Track Change History.
  2. Optionally, specify TPALL or TP for the History Detail Codes.
  3. In the Parameter form, specify how much information to track in Change History.

    By default, only manual overrides to the parameter value are displayed in the Change History tab of the object form. In this scenario, Change History tracks this information:

    • All manual overrides to the Value column.
    • When the Manual Override value changes to a Calculated value.
    • When the Calculated value changes to a Manual Override value.
    • When another column value in the object > Parameters grid changes. One example is when a user changes the Min value or the Max value. Another example is when an Attribute column value changes due to an equation calculation.

    Change History does not track any changes from one calculated value to another calculated value unless the Parameter form is configured to Track All Changes.
