Some parameters use equations

Some parameters are derived from other parameters by an equation. These are Equation Total parameters. Some parameters are Rollup, but require an equation to invoke an alert message.

For example, a Rollup parameter of type Numeric Minimum keeps record of the lowest boiling point of all ingredients in a formula. Suppose you add an ingredient with a low boiling point to the formula. An equation can determine that the boiling point is too low and invoke a message to the user:
