Adding captions

Captions enhance the usability of the template page. Captions enable you to group fields together in a logical manner. For example, you can have several extension fields in the Main or Extension Tables tab. You can group those fields together under one text label.

The Free Text field can be used to create a text label that is displayed above those extension fields. That label can span the entire width of those fields.

  1. Open the Configure Templates page.
  2. In the role-based template page, click Edit.
  3. Select the Free Text field from the left pane and drag it to the Main or Extension Tables tab.
  4. Place the Free Text field in a new row above the field name(s) that you intend to group together.
  5. Specify the text for the caption. If necessary, you can expand the text box to be two columns.
