A rule can reference many copy methods

Rules determine the name of the new object. They also limit the copy methods that can be applied. You can set up the rule to allow the user to select from several copy methods. Or, you can create a rule that does not use a copy method, but instead, creates a record with default properties.

With multiple Rules and multiple Copy Methods, you allow the user to select from many options to naming objects and assigning properties. Be careful of allowing too many options. Otherwise, you risk inconsistency in object names.
