Upload Stage Data

  1. Select Upload > Upload Stage Data to upload a data file.

  2. Click Browse to attach a supported. Click OK to upload the data. The Optiva table(s) schema data in this file will be uploaded into stage table(s).
  3. Bulk Data Loader supports XLS or XLSX, CSV and ZIP file formats to upload the stage data. If you attempt to upload other file formats, the Selected file type is not supported message is displayed.
    ZIP file must contain only XLS or XLSX and CSV file formats.
    Upload excel file tab(s) or csv file name should match with Optiva table name like FSITEM, FSFORMULA, FSSAMPLE. Otherwise, a warning will be displayed.
    User can remove the columns except mandatory from excel file tab(s) or CSV file.
    User cannot upload excel or CSV files without data. The No Data found in CSV or Excel file tab(s) message will be displayed in a dialog. Files must contain data in at least one tab for excel. Stage table data has been overridden only upload file has data in its respective tab.

  4. If you upload a supported format file and the upload is successful, the message Data Imported Successfully is displayed.
  5. After successfully uploading the data, the status and date columns in the main grid must be refreshed to display the data that was uploaded.

    Note: If you upload a supported format file with invalid data, related errors and warnings in different modes are displayed by the Bulk Data Loader.
    • If there are more than 20 errors, errors are written to a log file. Users can download this file to check the errors in the log.
    • If there are less than or equal to 20 errors, errors will be shown in a dialog box.
    • If the result does not have errors and only has warnings, then the warnings are displayed in Messages dialog.
