Elasticity in upstream tasks

If a workflow task is completed before or after its original due date, the dates for the remaining open tasks can be recalculated for you. This recalculation occurs only when the Full Elasticity check box in the Action Set form is selected.

The durations and units of measure that are defined for each task (in the Action Set form) are used as the basis for recalculating the dates.

If the Full Elasticity check box is not selected, then the dates are not recalculated for you. In this case, the system administrator must use the Workflows In Progress form to manually adjust the start date and the due date for each open task.
