Assigning objects to templates

You can assign objects to templates through set codes.

  1. Select Object > Classification tab.
  2. Associate an item, formula, or project with a template by assigning it to one or more template sets. Specifications are not affected by assigning the template codes.
  3. Save and refresh. Only the attributes from the template(s) are displayed.
    Note: If you already assigned items to the same set code that you use for a template, be advised. The list of parameters is reduced for any item that is already classified with the same set code. The list corresponds to those in the item template. Actual values recorded for parameters not defined in the template are no longer visible within Optiva.
