Mapping GS1 data in Optiva

Location form

Specify the GS1 Region Code in the GS1 Region Code field.

Company form

Specify the Global Location Number in the GLN Number field.

Unit of Measure form

Specify the GS1 UOM Code and GS1 UOM Description in the GS1 UOM Code and GS1 UOM Description fields.

Parameter form

Specify the GS1 Param Code and GS1 Param Description in the GS1 Param Code and GS1 Param Description fields. For GS1 Param Description, click the Language Translations button to specify language labels for other languages.

The Classification tab has been added to the Parameter form. You can specify the Set Code, Region and Category in this tab. This information will be added to a grid so you can source allergen and general parameter information into the Trade Item form.

Symbol form

The Classification tab has been added to the TECHPARAM Symbol. You can specify the Set Code, Region and Category in this tab. The Region and Category fields default in from the Set Code from the Symbol form. This information will be added to a grid so you can source allergen and general parameter information into the Trade Item form. Update the TECHPARAM symbol to provide classification selections to the parameter.

Classification categories provided to start are Allergens, Nutrition, and Additives.
