Object components
This table shows some of the components that are used in Optiva objects:

Company information | Information about internal and external
customers, vendors, and other relevant company information. See the Infor PLM for Process Application Configuration Guide. |
Workflow processes | Business tasks to be performed. Actions can
be performed in series or in parallel. See the Infor PLM for Process Workflow Administration Guide and Infor PLM for Process Scripting Administration Guide. |
Parameters | Characteristics, for example, Viscosity,
Color, Alcohol content, or Unit cost that is defined by the customer’s
equations or methods. See the Infor PLM for Process NPDI User Guide and the Infor PLM for Process Application Configuration Guide. |
Search and compare capability | Locate and compare existing formulas to use
as models for new formula development. See the Finding chapters in this guide. See the Infor PLM for Process NPDI User Guide. |
Advanced computer utilities for formulation | Includes calculating, adjusting and
rescaling. Rescaling includes verifications and conversion of units of measure.

Genealogy | Tracks the relationships between an object, its parents and siblings. |
Manufacturing and process instructions | Stores manufacturing, processing, regulatory and other relevant information. These are attached to formulas, items, specifications and other Optiva objects. |
