Calculations

Optiva can calculate each formula using one of two methods:

• Standard

  All ingredients are treated the same way.

• Equation based

  One ingredient is designated as Scale type 3: Eq Adjust to Total. This enables it to be calculated by equations. Other ingredients are calculated based upon an active parameter. The value from an equation is returned to an ingredient’s parameter with the Context.ReturnValue variable. See the Infor PLM for Process Scripting Administration Guide for more information.
