Running Global Calc in Optiva

Global Calc will override security, calculates and saves selected formulas and items. This does not apply to dependent formulas to be calculated, which requires a minimum of Read access.
Note:  It is recommended that the Global Calc administrator have Read Access to all Formulas and Items to be calculated and saved to ensure all dependencies are accessible.

You can run Global Calc using a set of formulas or items.

Use the buttons in the Global Calc form to manually start, stop, resume, or cancel the process.

Start the Global Calc process during a time when few users are accessing formulas or items.

You can repeat the full calculation cycle over and over. Start-stop-restart until it is complete. At the next scheduled time, start again on the same list of objects or on the results of a new search.

  1. Open the Global Calc form.
  2. Specify the criteria for the Global Calc job.
