Configuring Optiva for quenching

This table shows the script library, action, and action set that are provided by the system:

The QUENCH_RESULT action set is used for formulas. This action set is available in the Optiva seed database in the Lookup by Sets lookup. This table shows the information in the Steps grid:

The administrator must complete these configuration tasks.

  1. Create the QUENCH_RESULT parameter in the Parameter form.

  2. Add the QUENCH_RESULT parameter to the GLOBAL lab. The Filter type is Information and the Source is lab default.
  3. Open the IFRA Compliance filter. Add the QUENCH_RESULT parameter to the Parameter tab. The filter can be displayed in the Parameters tab of the Item form and the Formula form.
  4. Open the Formula symbol and add the QUENCH OUTPUT doc. code. Then, add this doc. code to the IFRA Compliance filter.
  5. Open the Item symbol and complete these steps:
    1. Add the QUENCHER and SENSITIZER set codes.
    2. Add these custom fields: QUENCHINGAGENTS and RELATIVEAMOUNT
  6. Open the Profile form. Use this profile attribute to create the Quencher Calc button for the Formula form.
