Example of displaying the sublabel

Suppose you have a Milk Chocolate formula that is the Master Formula for the Milk Chocolate Manufacturing Item.

The formula is composed of three items: Cocoa Butter, Lactose, and Sugar.

Milk Chocolate is assigned to the Chocolate Candy formula and is also an item in the Chocolate Bar rule.

When you apply this rule to an ingredient statement, the results are as follows:

To omit Lactose from the ingredient statement:

1. Create a formula that has 2 items: Cocoa Butter and Sugar.

   

2. Add that formula to the Milk Chocolate item. The Component Type must be either Material (1) or Raw Material (8).

   

3. Reapply the rule. Lactose has been omitted from the preview results.
