Configuring Optiva

  1. Configure sets, status codes, function codes, approval codes, and enable workflow and create rules (in the Symbol form) for samples, tests, and test orders. To enable the test order symbol for Workflow, specify True for the Action Symbol in the Symbol form.
  2. Configure default records for tests, test orders, samples, and searches.
  3. Customize the views, references, search results, and lookups for tests, test orders, and samples.
  4. Configure rules to generate codes for tests, test orders, and samples (Create Rules).
  5. Configure an enumerated list of: test classes (C_TESTCLASS), sample classes (C_SAMPLECLASS), test judgements (C_TESTCONDIND), and sample types (SAMPLETYPEIND).
  6. Configure units of measure for test intervals.
  7. Configure parameters for conditions and results.
  8. Configure a create rule to create a formula from a project, or copy the test plan from the project.
  9. Configure the workflow, create rule and profile for the Request Testing operation. Request Testing is accessed from the test plan.
