Completing the launch

  1. Select an action set for the object.
  2. Optionally, add more objects. If you add additional objects, you can create a unique work ID for the additional objects. The start date defaults to the current date, but you can change it to another date if desired. For example, the start date can be in the future or in the past.
  3. Add the input values. The input fields are specified in the Action Set form.
  4. Make adjustments to the user assignments and due dates. Select the Shows Assignments Grid check box in the Action Set form. This check box enables you to see the user and due date assignments in the Launch Workflow form.
  5. Start the Workflow. The Work IDs are created by the system.
  6. Assign all tasks, even ones that do not require user input. Then, the tasks can be audited in the Workflows In Progress form.
  7. You can reassign due dates after the workflow has launched.
