Form security
Other test components (test, test order, sample) are objects and can be controlled by standard security. Test results are a detail of a test order.
Access to the
Test Results form is controlled by form security set
by a role for
frmTestResult. This access includes Form Explorer, the
menu, and the
button on the
Item,
Formula, and
Test Order forms.
To access the Test Results form, the user must be in a Role that has this form and object security:
- form security of at least 3 for
FRMTESTRESULT - object security of at least 3 for
TESTRESSEARCH
In that case, the access to Test Results are determined by the security settings on the respective Test Order.
Administrators should also retain the default security settings of 15,
7, 3 on the @DFLT record in
FSOBJECTDATA for the Symbol
TESTRESSEARCH. Administrators must ensure that no
FSOBJECTDATA record for
TESTRESSEARCH has security set to less than 3, 3, 3.
The Test Result form can be opened
from the Form Explorer or menu. The user can search for test results by specifying a Test
Result Code, a Description, and the desired criteria. As with other search forms, the
criteria can be saved and reused. The search criteria is stored in FSOBJECTDATA.
