Working with classes

You can define classes to create logical groups.
Classes can be used for searches and filtering queries. Classes are different from Set Classifications. Only a single value per object is allowed for an object class. Each object class is associated with an enumerated list. Some examples of object classes lists are:
  • Analysis Class (C_ANALYSISCLASS)
  • Calendar Class (C_CALENDARCLASS)
  • Company Class (C_COMPANYCLASS)
  • Formula Class (C_FORMULACLASS)
  • Global Calc Classes (C_GLOBALCALCCLASS)
  • Label Content Class (C_LABELCONTENTCLASS)
  • Ingredient Statement Rule Class (C_LABELRULECLASS)
  • Project Class (C_PROJECTCLASS)
  • Sample Class (C_SAMPLECLASS)

You can define the form layouts for different classes in the Configure Templates form when data field layouts require specific web templates.
