Projects

The NPDI Project object streamlines the creation, execution, review and approval of projects, programs, new product briefs, and new product concepts.

Different departments are responsible for different aspects of the product. For example:

  • Marketing for product idea, market research and market campaigns.
  • Research and Development to formulate the product and ensure that it meets the specifications set by Marketing.
  • Regulatory to set guidelines on the product based on its intended market.
  • Sales to sell the product.

Departments work together or independently. Some complete their work in parallel and some cannot begin their work until another is completed.
