Ingredient Text for Rules - field descriptions

Overview

Using the Ingredient Text for Rule page, you can manage multiple ingredient statement rules for an item. The data in this page is synchronized with the data in the Ingredient Statement Rule page.

When you add, modify, or delete data in the Ingredient Text for Rule page, those changes are reflected in the Ingredients grid of the Ingredient Statement Rule page.

Any changes that you make in the Ingredient Statement Rule > Ingredients grid are reflected in the Ingredient Statement Rule page.

Form Security

To use the Ingredient Text for Rule form, you must have the appropriate form security for FRMITEMLABELALIAS.

Main tab

Comment

Optional. Enter an informational comment about the item. This comment is not displayed in the final label, but it does display in the Ingredient Statement page.

Description

Shows the description of the item. The second field displays the description of the rule.

Function Code

Select a Document Code from the list. This code stores the item's statement text in the database. This entry is optional if you define a LABEL.CHILDFUNC profile attribute.

Ingredient Statement Rule

Specify an ingredient statement rule.

Ingred Stmt

Click the Lookup to assign a child ingredient statement to the rule. You can click the View icon to navigate to the child ingredient statement.

Ingred Stmt ID

This read-only value is assigned by Optiva to the child ingredient statement.

Ingred Stmt Description
Shows the description of the child ingredient statement.
Item Code
Specify an item code.
Show Status
Select this check box to display the Status field entry in the ingredient statement. Typically, you will leave this box blank for child ingredient statements.
Option

Specify how the item should be handled. Valid choices are:

  • Ignore subitems
  • Explode to subitems
  • Display sublabel
  • Reconstitute
Report Qty%

Enter a reporting threshold for the item. The ingredient is displayed on the ingredient statement if its quantity is equal to or above this amount.

Statement Text
Enter the statement text to use for the item.
