Shop calendars

Shop calendars are used with Workflows. These calendars define the workdays, non-workdays, working hours per day, and any overrides for a specific location.

These calendars are used by Optiva to calculate:

  • The start date and end date for each task.
  • The load percentages for each user who is assigned to the task.

Project managers can determine when a user is overloaded and when a user is available for other task assignments.

If a user has a load percentage that exceeds 100%, then that user is overloaded. Conversely, if the user has a load percentage that is less than 100%, then the user can be assigned to other tasks. For more information, see the Infor PLM for Process Advanced Workflow Management User Guide.
