Adjusting sub-formula quantities

When you add a directly nested subformula to a formula, (through the Formula Code column), the quantity can be inappropriate for the current formula.

In this example, the sub-formula quantity percentage is 100%.

After performing the calculation, the quantity is still too high.

You can override the sub-formula yield by entering a new Mass or Volume for the sub-formula. The values are calculated as part of the new formula.

If you do not use 100% of the sub-formula yield, the sub-formula’s scalable parameters scale accordingly to the percentage that you are decreasing or increasing.
